ebitabo [a-b-ta-bow] – books
I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve mentioned anything about the library project for the school, so I thought I would bring you up to date.
While back in the States, Chandler, has met with a few people and been busy with books. She’s let me know that we have collected many books!
I am working with Pastor to try to solidify a figure for how much it will cost to construct the building. As soon as there are numbers and a plan, I will let you know.
At this point, one of the biggest challenges we are facing is getting the books here, to Uganda. [Shipping is just so expensive, and we would rather have that money go towards the library building].
Most of our books are in Cleveland, TN and Kerrville, TX.
-know of anyone traveling to Uganda that would be willing to check extra baggage?
(most international flights allow 2 free checked items)
-have connections with anyone who does international shipping and would be willing to help with our project?
-have any additional ideas, connections, or ways to help get our books over here?
Please leave a comment or e-mail me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any information or ideas that might be helpful in this quest to bring the books here, to these kids!
