If the story of the Hallelujah Project [the library and classrooms being built at Champions Christian Primary School] were a drama, this week was a big scene.
From the digging that began in April, to all of the money, months of labor, materials and prayers poured into this project, they all lead up to this scene for the building so far.
[to get the full impact of my next statement, you might want to read my blog here from a couple of weeks ago, where I go into more detail about the foundation].
Dim the lights.
Cue the curtains.
And the music starts to build.
Yesterday, the foundation was officially completed!
After two days of exhausting work, a lot of it in the rain, the slab [the ground of the ground floor] has been poured!
I thought pictures might help this scene unfold a little better in your mind…
So you may be asking, why was this such a big scene in the “drama” of our building project?
This is the floor for our building.
The next step is building walls.
But we need your help for this next scene.
Will you consider financially supporting the Hallelujah Project?
So far we have raised $21,000, and we still need about $15,000* more.
